Planning Commission makes its recommendations on the rezoning of Old Louisville

On March 21, 2016:
the Planning Commission moves on Proposed Map Change 
· Denial of the Staff recommendation to extend Neighborhood Center and 
Neighborhood Center-Transition westward along Oak Street and approval 
of the recommendation to extend the Neighborhood Center Edge Transition 
at W. Oak and S. 7th two properties southward along 7th.

The Planning Commission moves on Proposed Change in Permitted Uses
· Approval of the Staff recommendation to allow C-2 uses in Neighborhood 

Center with the following exclusionswhich would be prohibited: 
Automobile parking areas, public and private; 
Automobile rental agencies; 
Automobile rental agencies with no more than 25 rental passenger vehicles 
stored on site, and no more than two service bays for cleaning or maintenance, 
and having no repair or storage/dispensing of fuel; 
Automobile sales agencies; 
Used car sales areas, provided that no repair or reconditioning of automobiles 
or storage of parts shall be permitted except when enclosed in a building.
· Approval of the Staff recommendation to allow C-2 uses 
in Neighborhood Center-Transition with the following exclusions, which would be prohibited: 
Automobile rental agencies; 
Automobile repair garages; 
Automobile sales agencies; 
Automobile service station; 
Boat Sales and related storage; 
Car washes having prior approval by the agency responsible for transportation planning; 
Outdoor entertainment (with Conditional Use Permit); 
Used car sales areas, provided that no repair or reconditioning of automobiles or storage 
of parts shall be permitted except when enclosed in a building.
· Denial of the Staff recommendation to permitting subject to standards live/work units 
in Neighborhood General.
· Approval of other use-related Staff recommendations.

The Planning Commission moves on Proposed Change in Sign Standards
· Approval of Staff recommendations.

These recommendations will now go to Metro Council and will be on their discretion 

in regard to how quickly these are acted upon.
